September 2011 Newsletter
The 2011 Hockey season has arrived!
The hockey mom’s did a great job at supporting Thamesford Minor Hockey last year and I would like to thank those that participated in all of our events. We would like to take on some new challenges this year and I will need as many mom’s as possible. If you are interested in being part of the hockey mom’s committee please contact me at 519-295-0077.
We are hoping to run a tournament this season and with the assistance of the executive we hope to make this happen but we do need to know if you are able to commit your time. When sitting on the committee we hold 1 meeting per month. The tournament we are looking at will be a one day tournament, probably on a Saturday and this may warrant a few extra meetings this year. Again if you would like to be a part of this please contact me. If you were on the committee last year and wish to participate again please send me an email or phone call so I can update my contact list.
Please keep in mind that everything that we do help's our organization and in turn helps our children. If you do not want to be a part of the committee but you have some great ideas send them my way and I will be sure to put them forward to the committee. I wish you all a great season and I hope to hear from you.
